A 37-YEAR-OLD man who had allegedly absconded from prison has been arrested and charged.
Police arrested Darren Crossgill on Monday (December 2) and yesterday he was charged with absconding from Springhill Prison, Buckinghamshire.
He has also been charged with three counts of robbery, allegedly committed between November 26 and 29, in the Thamesmead area.
Crossgill appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was then remanded in custody.
