A SIXTEEN-year-old boy was hit by a train at Beckenham Hill station last night.
He suffered hip and leg injuries and was conscious when ambulance crews arrived following the incident at around 5.30pm.
The teenager was stablised at the scene and taken to King's College Hospital after paramedics from London's Air Ambulance also attended.
He remains in a stable condition after being struck by a train from Orpington to Cannon Street.
First Capital Connect and Southeastern services were affected as the London Blackfriars to Sevenoaks route was hit by cancellations and trains were stopped between Nunhead and Shortlands.
Services were back to normal by 6.30pm.
