A DEPTFORD bar is unleashing its 103-year-old drink recipes on customers for Christmas.
Little Nan’s Bar in Deptford Broadway is embracing the festive spirit with a New Year disco and a special Christmas menu including a fig, vodka and Prosecco cocktail.
There will be three opportunities (on December 7, 22 and 29) to indulge in a cream tea cocktail afternoon whilst browsing the vintage market – a popular event which is normally only held on the last Saturday of the month.
Tristan Scutt, who runs the bar dedicated to his granny, told Vibe: “You can smell Christmas down the street as my Nan’s 103-year-old recipe hot mulled apple juice wafts out of the door filling the room with a aroma of sweet cinnamon and Christmas.
“All of my nan's decorations are up and some of our cocktail-loving locals keep bringing decorations that they have inherited for us to add to the collection.
“On December 14 we’re having our regular Deptford Does Club with a Tropicana Christmas theme including special cocktails and dancing on New Year’s Eve with cocktails at around £4.”
“Christmas is all about being jolly, being merry and making new friends whilst meeting up with old ones.”
