AS my face descends into farce, it is important to remember that I’m not growing this thing for personal taste.
It is hard to believe that we are already two weeks into Movember; my daily facial aggravation feels like it has been going on forever already.
The upside (I think) is that it is finally growing and there is a recognisable ‘tache on my mug.
And, with that, everyone that passes me by must be thinking about men’s health. Must be.
Speaking frankly, if my face can persuade just a tenth of men that see it to give his little fellas a feel (for strictly medical reasons, obviously) then I’ll be happy.
Though thousands of men are diagnosed with testicular cancer every year, the good news is that more than 97 per cent survive – and early diagnosis is key to that.
The survival rates for prostate cancer aren’t so great, so it is even more important we raise awareness and what funds we can.
