FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling another blaze on Plumstead Common - the latest in a string of incidents.
Crews were called out to The Slade at 2.34pm and the fire was under control by 2.41pm.
Firefighters have tackled blazes on the common around 15 times in recent weeks.
Police said last week there had been reports that at least one of the incidents was arson, caused by a group of trouble-making youngsters.
