NEWS Shopper has recieved reports of a police incident in The 415 Jewellers, Crofton Road, Locksbottom.
The incident is said to have happened at around 10.30am.
A man, who does not want to be named, was walking past at the time.
He said: "The shutters of the shop were being drawn down.
"There was police activity with dogs inside.
"There were four police officers in a van and another four outside with two dogs.
"They looked like specialist officers, they were wearing a special uniform."
