THE 46-YEAR-OLD man found hanged in Barnehurst has been named as Lee Stockley.
Officers from the Met Police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service were called to Bursted Wood at 7.50am on June 8.
Mr Stockley, who lived in Bexleyheath, was pronounced dead at the scene by officers from Bexleyheath police station, who were called to the Wenvoe Road entrance to the park.
London Ambulance Service confirmed they also attended Bursted Wood via the Erith Road entrance.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned last Thursday.
Detectives say the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
