BEXLEY Youth Council members became TV stars as they filmed their own anti-smoking campaign DVD.
The film, which was made as a result of the youth council’s involvement with an ITV project, will be aired on the ITV News early next month.
ITV’s Fixers project allows youngsters to tackle issues they feel strongly about in a bid to make a difference to others.
Filmed at Blackfen School for Girls, members of the council interviewed Bexley’s Stop Smoking Service Manager Jo Woodvine about the risks of smoking.
Youth Council member Dominic Pimlott said: “Thank you Fixers for helping us create our anti-smoking project.
“I would especially like to thank Esther Coward, young person's co-ordinator, for helping us create our amazing project.”
