POLICE have released the first picture of Jerome Edwards, a Catford man murdered in Camberwell this week.

The 23-year-old was found with gunshot wounds to the head at a flat in Southwell Road at 4.50am on April 14.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended but he died at hospital later that morning.

Shortly after police were called to the scene, a 21-year-old man turned up at hospital with a gunshot wound to his ankle. He was later discharged.

It is believed he was shot in the street near to the flat.

Police have arrested two men aged in their 20s, one on suspicion of murder and the other on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in custody.

There was a party with around 100 guests going on in a first floor flat at the time of the shooting, and police want witnesses to come forward.
