A BEXLEY policeman will appear in court on Thursday charged with beating a teenage suspect.
Steven Rea, 39, has been summonsed to Westminster Magistrates Court charged with two counts of assault by beating in relation to a 14-year-old boy.
A Directorate of Professional Standards (DPS) investigation was launched after CCTV was reviewed of the youngster being brought into custody on October 13 last year.
