A 53-YEAR-OLD man has been charged following footage allegedly showing Millwall fans racially abusing a Leeds striker.
Gerrard Scanlon, a delivery driver from Enfield, is accused of a racially aggravated public order offence at the Leeds vs Millwall match on November 18 last year.
It comes after a Sky Sports News report showed Senegal international El Hadji Diouf apparently being abused during the game at the Den.
Scanlon has been bailed to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on February 27.
