A 44-YEAR-OLD Eltham man has been charged with murder following the stabbing of Rolandos Jakubonskis in Woolwich yesterday (Jan 29).
Police were called to a house in Elmdene Road at 2.06am yesterday morning and found the 36-year-old Lithuanian suffering from stab injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination was due to be held this afternoon at Greenwich mortuary.
Pavel Arklowskus, of Strongbow Crescent, Eltham, has this afternoon been charged with the murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court via virtual link tomorrow (Jan 31).
