THREE teenagers have denied murdering a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed to death at his birthday party in Downham.
Nathaniel Brown died after being stabbed in the chest at a house party in Launcelot Road in the early hours of August 1.
Felix Connel, 19, from Middlesex, Jeffrey Otete, 19, from Deptford, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied murdering the schoolboy at the Old Bailey today (November 7).
Flowers with handwritten messages lay near the terraced house – opposite Haberdashers’ Aske’s Knights Academy – after the incident and tributes flooded online forums at the time.
One anonymous note read: “I know that Nathaniel was well loved and respected. He had great character and a big heart.”
The trio stand accused of murder and their trial will begin on April 22 next year.
