Mimbre
Who are they?
A female acrobatic theatre performance troupe
What do they do?
Mimbre throw and catch each other in ways you did not think was possible. This company fuses world-class acrobatics with theatre and dance, using a unique physical language to tell stories and create imagery.
Who would like this?
People who love to say ooooh and ahhhh! This stuff is pretty scary but they make it look so easy.

Temujin Gill and Sunanda Biswas
Who are they?
A lindy hopping dance duo. Sunanda has performed and toured with Take That, the Hip Hop Collective and Temujin Dance Company in addition to various others. Temujin has worked with gDA on a number of projects in the past and created a new solo Untitled for the very first gDA Cabaret in December 2006.
What do they do?
Lindy hop is a strand of traditional jazz dance, it is fast and frenzied and a lot of fun. It is a partner dance with lots of lifts, swing and fast footwork.
Who would like this?
Everyone. The energetic and playful qualities of this dance make it accessible for all.
Sin Cru
Who are they?
A collective of B-boys and B-girls [devotees to hip hop culture, especially breakdancing), DJs, MCs and graffiti artists founded in 1995
What do they do?
A mixture of hip hop and break dance accompanied by live vocals.
Who would like this?
People who are keen to see some high impact physical dance

Henri Oguike Dance Company
Who are they?
Henri Oguike Dance Company is a contemporary dance company led by gifted Nigerian-Welsh choreographer Henri Oguike.
What do they do?
The reviewers say Henri Oguike is one of the best things happening in British dance right now and that everything that is good about contemporary dance is evident in his work. The company is acclaimed for picking the perfect soundtrack, amazing performers and its intelligent choreography that bounces off the stage and into our laps.

Anyone who loves dance.

Company Decalage
What do they do?
Company has a unique style blending various dance languages often rooted to its hip hop influences; popping, waving, Capoeira, B-boying and contemporary dance with a hint of physical theatre.

People who can’t make up their mind what their favourite dance style is and want to see a little bit of everything.

Jules Maxwell and house band
What do they do?
Live music, a little bit bluesy, piano and guitar, a lovely voice that makes you feel warm inside.

Elvis McGonagall
Who is he?
The compere for the evening
What does he do?
Stand-up poet, armchair revolutionary and recumbent rocker, Elvis McGonagall is the sole resident of The Graceland Caravan Park somewhere in the middle of nowhere where he scribbles verse whilse drinking malt whisky and listening to Johnny Cash.
