Remember, remember the 5th of November ...

Actually, many of this year’s bonfire and fireworks events take place on Saturday, November 3, which should be a spectacular night.

Here are some of the best displays taking place near you. All you have to do is wrap up warm and enjoy the sights.

Danson Park Fireworks, Welling Round Table's 2018 charity fireworks, November 3

The Annual Family Fireworks Spectacular in Danson Park, Bexley, brought to you by Welling Round Table. Come and enjoy a great, safe family evening out in the beautiful settings of historic Danson Park - be wowed by the beautiful 25 minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music and set over the lake.

There will also be a children's fun fair, stalls and plenty of food and refreshments available. Tickets can be bought here and start from £7 for over 19s and £4 for 5-18 year old. Children under five can go for free. Tickets can be bought on the day but it is advise to arrive early.

Blackheath fireworks, Shooters Hill Road, November 3

As one of the capital’s rare major displays that’s still free, Blackheath attracts crowds of up to 100,000 to its all-day Guy Fawkes bash. Colourful fairground rides take over the heath from midday, food and drink stalls open at 5pm and the fireworks kick off at 8pm. Don’t miss a wander through Blackheath Village, where the celebrations spill out into the streets.

Chislehurst fireworks and funfair, November 3

Annual firework event celebrating Bonfire Night complete with bonfire, firework display and children's fun fair organised by the Rotary Club of Chislehurst. Fireworks start at 7:00 pm, not 7:30 pm like previous years.

The Chislehurst Rotary Club have run this event for over 35 years and as it is Chislehurst’s largest event, attracting over 6,000 people, it raises thousands of pounds for local charities such as the Kent Air Ambulance, Kent Association for the Blind, Demelza House, Bromley Womens’ Aid, Child Aid and the British Heart Foundation as well as International Projects such as Polio Plus. Chislehurst Rotary also organise events for local school children and parties for the elderly who live alone in the area.

An under-12’s Funfair and numerous International Food Stalls will be assembled on Chislehurst Recreation Ground and the Fireworks are ignited in the adjacent grounds of Red Hill Primary School.

There will be stage performances from various local dance academies both before and after the Fireworks. The main event of technicolour Fireworks provided by Firework Crazy starts at 7:00 pm, and is promised to be a really spectacular show.

Brockwell Park fireworks, November 3

Family firework display. The 6:45pm family show will be set to a soundtrack of popular movie music (including The Greatest Showman, Moana, Frozen and Trolls) the second display at 8pm has a Time Tunnel theme with hits from the 90s to the present day. Plus funfair, stalls and food.

Beckenham fireworks in the park, November 3

Beckenham Fireworks in the Park is a family-friendly fireworks display for Bonfire Night that has been run since 1946. We have a quiet display at 6pm (fireworks for smaller children / autism-friendly) and a main firework display at 7.45pm. Gates open on Croydon Road and Village Way in Beckenham at 5:00pm.

Food stalls this year include burgers, jerk chicken, jacket potatoes, pulled pork, hot dogs, ice cream as well as warming drinks. They’ll be serving from 5pm and the rides and stalls will be running all evening until the end of the fireworks. There will be a small, quieter display for children from 6:00 pm and the main display will start at 7:45 pm. Tickets can only be bought at the gate, there are no presale tickets available. They start from £5 for children and £10 for adults.

Crystal Palace Fireworks, November 5

Gates open at 6pm. The 7pm show will be a magical display with fewer bangs for our younger audience. This will be followed by a spectacular light show. The main family fireworks display including choreographed lights will take place at 8:30pm. Tickets must be bought online and start from £8.50.

New Ash Green Fireworks, The Meadow, November 3

New Ash Green Bonfire & Fireworks Display 2018 on The Meadow, New Ash Green where the Firework Display will be choreographed to songs. Bring a torch & dress appropriately for the time of year. You can buy tickets in advance from Pets Pantry & the VA Office at discounted prices.

Tickets are on sale for £4 each from only the outlets below, Children under 3 are free. Tickets will increase to £6 each if bought on the gate on the night. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the fireworks display is scheduled for 7:00pm. The theme this year is "50 Years of New Ash Green" and fireworks will be choreographed to songs chosen from across all five of the last decades to celebrate the Villages 50th anniversary. We hope this will be a fitting finale to a hugely successful summer of activities put of by the different organisations from within the village to celebrate this milestone. We are expecting a huge crowed again this year, so please buy your tickets early from Pets Pantry & the VA Office in the New Ash Green village centre.

The Sevenoaks Fireworks, Seven Oaks School November 3.

Sevenoaks Firework Event 2018 hosted by Sevenoaks Round Table to be held at Dukes Meadow, Sevenoaks School but before that at 5pm it starts in the High Street with live entertainment for all ages plus stalls selling food & drink & gifts to purchase for Christmas etc.

At 7pm the Torchlit Procession will start along the High Street towards Dukes Meadow, the 2 access gates open at 7pm & the Firework Display starts at 7.45pm prompt. Advance discounted tickets available from Stag Theatre, Lorimers, Sevenoaks Travel and many more.

Brands Hatch Fireworks, November 4

British Truck Racing headlines a spectacular weekend of family entertainment which will end with a 'big bang' on the Sunday - our longest, biggest and most spectacular fireworks display yet.

The five-tonne, 1000-horsepower beasts will battle wheel-to-wheel in the final rounds of the season. There are eight truck races provisionally scheduled over the weekend, with five on the Sunday.

There will be a host of support races from some of the country's most exciting categories, whilst off-track there's lots for all the family to enjoy, including that 'big bang' fireworks display on Sunday.

Over 130 pristine show trucks will be lined up throughout the venue. Expect to see beautiful trucks of varying types, sizes and eras on display with them all taking to the circuit on Sunday evening prior to the firework display. Gates open at 7:00am on Sunday. There will be several races before the fireworks display at approx 5:00 pm.

Knockholt Carnival fireworks, November 3

Burgers and hot dogs, massive bonfire, glow sticks, rockets lighting up the sky. The Knockholt fireworks display is always a hit. Wrap up warm, wear your wellies and come along. All profits go to charity.

Doors open at 6:00 pm, with the bonfire starting at 6:45pm. Fireworks begin at 7:30.

West Wickham fireworks, November 3

This is a great family Event operate by West Wickham Rotary.

Proceeds from the display go to charities including: St Christopher’s Hospice, Demelza House Hospice, Disability Snowsports, Magpie Dance as well as other local and national charities.
