Stuck for ideas of what to do this weekend? Here are six things to see and do on Saturday and Sunday ...

Listen and eat ... Amersham Arms, New Cross

From 2pm to 11pm, February 18. There is a new vegan kitchen at The Amersham and it’s open for Sunday roasts so you don’t even have to wash up. As you eat your roast, this week you can listen to The Blue Bishops and Deep Blue Sea playing some great music.

See… Twelfth Night in New Cross

See an all-female cast at The London Theatre on February 17 at 8pm. "I am all the daughters of my father's house, And all the brothers too." Twelfth Night is a tale of unrequited love, which is both hilarious and heartbreaking. Twins are separated in a shipwreck, and forced to fend for themselves in a strange land.

Make ... Chinese lanterns for Chinese New Year in Greenwich Market

This is a great way to keep the kids busy this weekend by making some lovely Chinese paper lanterns. The workshops will be held on February 17 and 18, 11am to 3pm. Wei Chen from Papermoon is hosting free children's origami workshops and will show you how to make your own paper dog or pretty paper Chinese lanterns.

Stock up ... in Forest Hill

A farmers market takes place at the Horniman Museum this Saturday. This happens every week but there are different stalls and produce depending on the week. Located in the glorious gardens, there will be stalls with seasonal fruit and vegetable, organic meat and yummy hot food.

Visit ... Severndroog Castle, Greenwich

This beloved castle was nearly snatched by private developers but the local community came together to save it in 2010. What you see today is all the efforts the community have made to create the space they’ve always dreamed of. Explore the grounds and learn about the history of this community favourite.
