If there is someone you want to express your gratitude to, whether they donated a kidney or opened a door for you, we want to hear about it.
Here’s who readers are thanking this week:
We would like to say a big thank you to all of the team at the Princess Royal Hospital in Locksbottom for all of their kindness and help they gave to our son following his recent accident. They were truly inspirational and supportive and talked my son through every step of the way. He left with one arm in plaster and two broken fingers on his other hand and an appointment to come back to the fracture clinic where I am sure he will again receive the best possible care.
Louise and Peter Elliston
Thanks Dad and Jon for your advice when I thought I had overfilled my car with oil last Friday. And a great deal of thanks to Ken from Green Flag who came to my rescue with a toolbox full of much-needed common sense. Who’d have thought that the levels appear higher when you’re parked on a steep hill?
James John, Bromley
Cheers to the fella who brought me a pint at half time in a game I was umpiring. What a nice thought, a spectator thought of me when he went to the bar.
Andy, Gravesend
Thanks very much everyone for the beast of a birthday cake and also the lovely card. You’ve brightened my day on the eve of my 40th.
Simon, Petts Wood
