We’ve rounded up four pick your own pumpkin patches within an hour's drive of south east London to visit this October.

If you’re looking for a fun day out this Atumn half term, pumpkin picking is the perfect activity to get you in the spirit for the spooky season.

There are plenty of pumpkin patches to visit, with many offering additional activities to keep your little ones entertained.

We’ve rounded up four pumpkin patches to visit within an hour's drive of south east London and what they have on offer this year:

Four Winds Farm

Where? Pumpkin Field, Poundsbridge Hill, Fordcombe, Tunbridge Wells, TN3 0RL

When? October 21 - October 29

How much? £2 plus 75p booking fee per vehicle, bookable in advance.

Located near Tunbridge Wells in Kent, Four Winds Farm offers a fun family day out this spooky season.

Alongside pumpkin picking there will also be other activities including a scarecrow hunt and face painting, as well as tea and cakes if you get peckish.

Sessions will run every day, starting at 10am and ending at 4pm, with six sessions available to book on.

Pumpkins range in price from £2 up to £10, with a variety of shapes, sizes and colours to choose from.

Priory Farm

Where? Priory Farm Estate, Sandy Lane, South Nutfield, Redhill, RH1 4EJ

When? October 21 – October 29 with tractor ride sessions starting October 7

How much? Tickets start at £4 per person

Within an hour's drive of south east London, Priory Farm will be putting on a whole host of Halloween activities this half term.

The farm will be hosting several Halloween events throughout October, including Park and Pick sessions during half term week, as well as pumpkin picking and tractor ride sessions at weekends starting from October 7 and ending on October 29.

For £6, guests can take a ride on a tractor or trailer around the pumpkin fields, listening to spooky sounds as you spot the many pumpkins on your route.

There will also be other activities including their Hay Bale Maze, pumpkin-themed games and many photo areas to take snaps of your little ones with their pumpkins.

If you're really looking to get into the Halloween spirit, the farm will also be hosting its Discover Land Halloween Trail, where you will embark on a spooky quest guided by special characters.

Milebush Farm

Where? Milebush Farm, Shingle Barn Lane, West Farleigh, Kent, ME15 0PN

When? Starting October 1 and open every day throughout October

How much? Free entry and parking

Milebush Farm will be offering free pumpkin picking throughout October, open from 10am-4pm daily.

Aside from pumpkins the farm also has other seasonal produce on offer including apples, eggs, potatoes, honey and meats.

Candy floss and hot donuts will also be available to purchase, and dogs are also welcome on leads to join guests whilst pumpkin picking.

Riverside Farmers

Where? PYO Pumpkins, Beluncle Farm, Stoke Road, Hoo, Rochester, Kent, ME3 9LU

When? Starting October 21

How much? £7.50 for a vehicle up to seven seats and £11 for a vehicle up to 18 seats

Located in Rochester, within a 45-minute drive of south east London, Riverside Farmers will be offering visitors the opportunity to choose from their homegrown pumpkin range.

There will be a lot of large orange pumpkins on offer along with smaller pumpkins and squashes.

There will also be photo opportunities as well as snacks available in the snack shop.

Tickets are set to be released for the half term week following the weekend of October 21, with doors opening from 10am until 3:30pm.
