PROPOSED MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS BENNERLEY ROAD, CHARLMONT ROAD, CORTIS ROAD, GEORGE POTTER WAY, LARPENT AVENUE, NIGHTINGALE LANE
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
- The Wandsworth (Clapham Junction) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Clapham South) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Tooting Broadway) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019
- The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. *) Order 2019
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:
(a) outside No. 1a Bennerley Road, on the north-west side, remove the single yellow line waiting restriction and extend by 6 metres the Clapham Junction CPZ parking bay operating 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday, due to a redundant dropped kerb and vehicle crossover;
(b) outside No. 1 Charlmont Road, on the north-west side, remove the single yellow line waiting restriction and join together the Tooting Broadway CPZ parking bays operating 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday, due to a redundant dropped kerb and vehicle crossover;
(c) in Cortis Road, to install double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions:
(i) on the west and north sides, between the common boundary of Nos. 117 and 119 Cortis Road and a point 50 metres west of the western kerb-line of Cortis Terrace; and
(ii) on the east side, opposite No. 119 Cortis Road;
(d) in George Potter Way, to install double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions:
(i) both sides, at its junction with Yelverton Road;
(ii) on the west side, 4.5 metres opposite Harrison House, No. 32 York Road;
(iii) on the east side:
(A) various lengths outside George Potter House; and
(B) 18 metres adjacent to Harrison House, No. 32 York Road;
(e) outside No. 29 Larpent Avenue, on the north-east side, remove 1 metre of Putney CPZ parking place and install a single yellow line waiting restriction to accommodate a new dropped kerb and vehicle crossover; and
(f) in Nightingale Lane, to make various amendments to the parents orders so as to bring them in line with the on street layout.
3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting reference W/ECS/TMO1750) by 31st May 2019.
