ROAD AND LOUISVILLE ROAD PROPOSED PARKING AMENDMENTS, RAISED TABLES, RAISED JUNCTIONS AND ENTRY TREATMENT
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004:

- The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 2019

- The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. *) Order 2019

2. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in pursuance of section 90C of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to construct:

(a) new raised tables in Dr Johnson Avenue, at the locations described in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

(b) new raised junctions at the locations described in Schedule 2 to this Notice; and

(c) a new raised entry treatment at the junction of Dr Johnson Avenue with Tooting Bee Road, from the northern kerb-line of Tooting Bec Road, north-westwards for a distance of 18.2 metres.

3. The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be:

(a) in Elmbourne Road, to remove:

(i) 4 metres of parking place outside No. 90 Elmbourne Road;

(ii) 3.2 metres of parking place outside No. 92 Elmbourne Road;

(iii) 13.2 metres of parking place opposite its junction with Louisville Road; and

(iv) 1.6 metres of parking place opposite No. 90 Elmbourne Road;

(b) in Louisville Road, to remove:

(i) 3.4 metres of parking place adjacent to No. 90 Elmbourne Road; and

(ii) 2.6 metres of parking place adjacent to No. 92 Elmbourne Road;

(c) in Hillbury Road, north-west to south-east arm, to remove 17 metres of parking place opposite its junction with Hillbury Road, south-west to north-east arm; and

(d) in Hillbury Road, south-west to north-east arm, to remove 3.2 metres of parking place outside No. 21 Hillbury Road.

4. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to make certain amendments to the parent Order so as to amend certain drafting errors and to bring it in line with the on-street layout with regard to Dr Johnson Avenue and Hillbury Road.

5. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders, raised tables, junction and entry treatment are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

7. Any person wishing to make an objection about the proposed Orders or representation about the raised tables, junction or entry treatment should send a statement in writing of their objection or representation and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting the reference W/ECS/TMO/1726) by 8th March 2019.

SCHEDULE 1 - Raised Tables
(i) from a point 105 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Hillbury Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 13 metres, and with an overall height of 75 millimetres;

(ii) from a point 193 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Hillbury Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 13 metres, and with an overall height of 75 millimetres;

(iii) from the northern kerb-line of Tooting Bee Road, north­westwards for a distance of 110 metres, and with an overall height of 75 millimetres.

SCHEDULE 2 - Raised Junctions
(a) Hillbury Road and Dr Johnson Avenue:

from the north-eastern kerb-line of Hillbury Road (north­west to south-east arm), north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 8 metres and from the north-western kerb-line of Hillbury Road (south-west to north-east arm), north-westwards for a distance of approximately 8 metres, and from the south­eastern kerb-line of Hillbury Road (south-west to north-east arm), south-eastwards for distance of 23.5 metres; and
(b) Elmbourne Road and Louisville Road:

from the north-western kerb-line of Elmbourne Road, north­westwards for a distance of approximately 9 metres and from the north-eastern kerb-line of Louisville Road, north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 9.5 metres, and from the south­western kerb-line of Louisville Road, south-westwards for a distance of approximately 7 metres.
