LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. ***) Order 2018. The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. **) Order 2018. The Bromley (Speed Limit) (No. 1) Order 2018. The Bromley (On Street Parking Places) (Orpington Area) Order 2006 (Amendment No. **) Order 2018. The Bromley (Free Parking Places)(Disabled Persons) 2003 (Amendment No.**) Order 2018. (Various Locations)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 82(1)(a), 84(1)(c), (1A) and (2), 87 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) extend the existing 30mph speed limit along Main Road, Biggin Hill between a point 25m south of the southern boundary of 'Fayreholm' and the borough boundary with Sevenoaks District Council;

(c) reduce the length of the 'At Any Time' waiting restrictions by 9m on the north side of Tonge Close, Beckenham at Its Junction with Eden Park Avenue;

(d) remove the resident permit bay outside Nos. 1 & 3 Pope Road, Bromley;

(e) reduce the length of the free parking place on the eastern side of Mortimer Road, Orpington by 5m at its southern end, and replace with Monday to Saturday 8am - 6.30pm watting restrictions;

(f) extend the westernmost resident permit parking place on the south side of Scoffs Road, Bromley by 9m at its western end;

(g) Introduce new disabled parking bays as specified In the Schedule to this notice;

(h) remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Executive Director of Environment and Community Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/663 not later than 29th August 2018.
Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection. SCHEDULE-WAITING RESTRICTIONS No Waiting At Any Time:-
ANDOVER ROAD, Orpington, the west side, from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 98 & 98a northwards and westwards to a point 1 m east of the party wall of Nos. 61 & 63.
BROW CRESCENT, Orpington, the eastern arm, both sides, from the northern kerbline of Petten Grove northwards for a distance of 10m. CANTERBURY CLOSE, Beckenham, the west side, from a point 13m south of the southern kerbline of The Avenue southwards to a point in line with the eastern flank wall of No. 2.
CHIPPERFIELD ROAD, St. Paul's Cray, the west side, from a point 2m south east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 287 & 289 south eastwards to a point 1 m south east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 293 & 295.
