1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 23 April 2018 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to:

(a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 11 Anthony Road, South Norwood, No. 18 Apsley Road, South Norwood, No. 101 Beckford Road, Croydon, No. 16 Firsby Avenue, Croydon, No. 85 Grove Road, Thornton Heath, No. 13 Kemerton Road, Croydon, No. 22 Kynaston Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 10 Lloyd Park Avenue, Croydon, No. 48 Parkview Road, Croydon, No. 15 Preston Road, Upper Norwood, No. 33 Stanford Road, Norbury, and No. 9 Woodland Road, Thornton Heath.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
SANDERSTEAD ROAD AND SELSDON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate railway bridge survey works and structural investigation, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Selsdon Road and Sanderstead Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) Selsdon Road will be closed between its junctions with Chelsham Road and Sussex Road;

b) Sanderstead Road will be closed 10 meters either side of the railway bridge.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 14 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
WHITEHORSE ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer servicing works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Whitehorse Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Whitehorse Road at its junction with St James's Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as signposted.

4. The Order will come into operation on 26 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the duration of the works will be carried out in 4 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

WOODSIDE ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water connection they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Woodside Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) vehicles proceeding in Spring Lane will not be permitted to turn into Woodside Road;

(b) one-way working will apply in Woodside Road in a direction from south-west to north-east.

3. The Order will come into operation on 15 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 4 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. Whilst the restrictions are in force the diversion route for traffic will be via Spring Lane, Woodside Green, Stroud Road and Woodside Road.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 30 April 2018 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

HARRINGTON ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of BT Openreach to lay a new duct in the footway, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic movements and parking in Harrington Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) the north-western footway in Harrington Road will be closed between its junctions with Cresswell Road and Albert Road;

(b) parking on the north-western side of Harrington Road will be suspended (from property No. 43 to the Albert Tavern) and waiting and loading restrictions will apply between 9am and 4pm, to facilitate a walkway in the carriageway.

3. The Order will come into operation on 30 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to repair a defect in the carriageway, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Bensham Lane will be closed between its junctions with Constance Road and Kelling Gardens.

3. The Order will come into operation on 10 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day, between 9.30am

and 4pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. Whilst the restrictions remain in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Campbell Road, as appropriately signed.
