ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

CRAIGNISH AVENUE. NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING


1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to carry out a service pipe repair on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Craignish Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Craignish Avenue will be closed outside No. 13 Craignish Avenue;

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting restrictions will apply at any time on both sides of the road outside Nos. 10 to 15 Craignish Avenue.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be via London Road, St Helens Road, St Helens Crescent, Norbury Crescent, ?unbar Avenue and Craignish Avenue, or via Dunbar Avenue, Ederline Avenue, London Road and Craignish Avenue.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ARUNDEL ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Openreach ducting works, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Arundel Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Arundel Road will be closed at its junction with Northcote Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 23 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Northcote Road, Westbury Road, Sydenham Road and vice versa

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BARDOLPH AVENUE. CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Bardolph Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Bardolph Avenue will be closed between its junctions with Newlands Wood and Fairacres.

3. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion route for traffic will be via Bardolph Avenue, Court Wood Lane, Featherbed Lane, Pixton Way and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed over two days: 18 and 20 July 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BRIDLE ROAD AND SHIRLEY WAY. CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Bridle Road and Shirley Way.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Bridle Road will be closed northbound at the junction with Shirley Way.

b) Shirley Way will be closed at its junction with Bridle Road.

3. During the works the diversion routes for traffic will be via Bridle Road, Girton Gardens and Tideswell Road, or via Shirley Way, Tideswell Road, Girton Gardens, Links View Road, Oak Avenue and Bushey Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one evening, between 7pm and 11 pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

(SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER MATT'S BBQ EVENT - PURLEY WAY PLAYING FIELDS ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Mart's BBQ event on Purley Way Playing Fields they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close roads as specified in Schedule 1 and suspend parking as detailed in the Schedule 2 to this Notice.

2. The Order will come into effect on 02 July 2022 and will remain in force for one day.

3. During the closures access will be maintained for residents, businesses, deliveries, bus routes and taxis. The closures will be supervised during the event.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.

(b) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
