The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.51) Order 2022

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.52) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 27 June 2022 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:


a)
Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of Nos. 56 Addiscombe Court Road, Addiscombe, No. 127 Burlington Road, Thornton Heath, No. 5 Bute Road, Croydon, No. 10 Cresswell Road, South Norwood, No. 116 Frant Road, Thornton Heath, No. 45 Hampton Road, Croydon, No. 72 Heathfield Vale, South Croydon, No. 66 Nova Road, Croydon, No. 9 Sunnydene Road, Purley, No. 19a Tanfield Road, Croydon, No. 106 The Ridgeway, Croydon, No. 66 Verdayne Avenue, Croydon, No. 74 Winifred Road, Coulsdon and No. 69 Windsor Road, Thornton Heath.

b)
Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 04 July 2022 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). Alternatively all related documents or further informationcan be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk or by post to the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.H11) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 48 Beauchamp Road, Upper Norwood, No. 190 Dalmally Road, Croydon, No. 52 Langdale Road, Thornton Heath, No. 63 Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath, No. 23 Malvern Road, Thornton Heath, No. 18 Natal Road, Thornton Heath, No. 12 Norwich Road Thornton Heath, No. 66b Nova Road, Croydon, No. 55 Strathyre Avenue, Norbury, No. 80 The Ridgeway, Croydon, No. 18 Westbrook Road, Thornton Heath, and No. 30 Woodlands Grove, Coulsdon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

EGERTON ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new gas supplies, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Egerton Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Egerton Road will be closed outside No. 28 Egerton Road.

3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Whitehorse Lane, St Mary's Road and Parry Road as appropriately signed.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 04 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 11 July 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

INGRAM ROAD THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom pole and cabinet installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ingram Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Ingram Road will be closed between the roundabout (at the junction of Ingram Road, Waddington Way, Downsview Road, Biggin Way and Virginia Road) and its junction with the north-west to south-east arm of Ingram Road fronting property Nos. 92 to 96 Ingram Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via Virginia Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 08 July 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MELROSE ROAD. COULSDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works to a defect in the carriageway they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Melrose Road, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Melrose Road will be closed at its junction with St Andrew's Road.

3. During the works the alternative routes for traffic will be as specified below and appropriately signed.

- Via St Andrews, Richmond Road, Winifred Road and reversed.

- Via St Andrews, Alexander Road, Winifred Road and reversed.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 01 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

YORK ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in York Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, rolling parking suspensions and temporary waiting and loading restrictions operating 'at any time' will be introduced in York Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 04 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 18 July 2022. However, the

Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
