CROYDON COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED. THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
POLLARDS HILL SOUTH. NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to a water service pipe on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Pollards Hill South.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Pollards Hill South will be closed between its junction with Pollards Crescent and its south-westernmost junction with Pollards Hill West;

b) The north-eastern footway of Pollards Hill South will be closed as necessary to facilitate the works between its junction with Pollards Crescent and its south-westernmost junction with Pollards Hill West.

3. During the closure the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Pollards Crescent, Pollards Hill West, Pollards Hill South and reversed, as appropriately sign posted. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 26 April 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer;

(c) any vehicle used to carry out the said works.

BRIGSTOCK ROAD. NUTFIELD ROAD & PENSHURST ROAD. THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works on behalf of BT Openreach, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Brigstock Road, Nuffield Road and Penshurst Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Nuffield Road will be closed to vehicles between its junction with Brigstock Road and a point 5 metres north-west of that junction;

b) Penshurst Road will be closed to vehicles between its junction with Brigstock Road and a point 5 metres south-east of that junction;

c) The south-eastern footway of Brigstock Road will be closed to pedestrians between its junction with Penshurst Road and a point 30 metres north-east of that junction.

3. Whilst the closures are in force, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.

- Nuffield Road closure diversion - via Woodcote Avenue, Chipstead Avenue, Brigstock Road and vice versa.

- Penshurst Road closure diversion - via Haslemere Road, Bensham Lane, Brigstock Road and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 22 April 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

6. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

ZERMATT ROAD. THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Zermatt Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Zermatt Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 and Nos. 29 and 31 Zermatt Road;

b) The north-eastern footway of Zermatt Road will be closed to pedestrians between the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 and Nos. 29 and 31 Zermatt Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

- Via Ecclesbourne Road, Boswell Road, Lucerne Road and Zermatt Road;

- Via Ecclesbourne Road, Berne Road, Geneva Road, Zermatt Road, Boswell Road and Lucerne Road;

- Via Lucerne Road, Berne Road, Geneva Road and Zermatt Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CANNING ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate re-surfacing works on behalf of Tramlink they have made an Order the effect of which will be to restrict traffic in Canning Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Canning Road will be closed between its junction with Addiscombe Road and a point 10 metres north of that junction.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Leslie Park Road, Tunstall Road, Addiscombe Court Road and Addiscombe Road, or via Lower Addiscombe Road, Clyde Road, Chepstow Road, Park Hill Road and Addiscombe Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 April 2022 and it is expected that the works will be carried out overnight over two weekends (23 and 24 April, and 30 April and 01 May 2022) between 11pm and 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a pedal cycle;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(d) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

PADDOCK GARDENS. UPPER NORWOOD
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe repair works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Paddock Gardens.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Paddock Gardens will be closed between its junction with Westow Street and the common boundary of Nos. 21 and 22 Paddock Gardens.

3. The Order will come into operation on 25 April 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
