LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (BURLINGTON ROAD AND WEST BARNES LANE. KT3) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate lifting and inspection works at the northernmost level crossing on West Barnes Lane, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road and prohibit waiting by vehicles in Burlington Road.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane between the eastern kerb-line of Burlington Road and the western kerb-line of Linkway;

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in:-

(i) the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;

(ii) West Barnes Lane, both sides, between the eastern building wall of No. 50 West Barnes Lanes and its junction with Burlington Road;

(iii) Burlington Road, both sides, between its junction with West Barnes Lane and the Burlington Road Tesco supermarket exit;

(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. The alternative routes for:-

(a) vehicles affected by the road closure will be via Claremont Avenue and Burlington Road, or vice versa;

(b) pedestrians affected by the road closure will be via the adjacent footbridge.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

7. The Order will come into operation at 1 am on Sunday 9th January 2022 and remain in force until 6am the same day.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CROOKED BILLET. WIMBLEDON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water metre installations and associated works in Crooked Billet, SW19; they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Crooked Billet, the north arm, which includes No. 1 to 8 Crooked Billet; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length or road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Woodhayes Road.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into force on Wednesday 5th January 2022 will remain in force for a period of 3 months.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(BURSTOW ROAD. WIMBLEDON CHASE) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gas main replacement works in Burstow Road, Wimbledon Chase, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the worksi­te) no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:

(i) enter or proceed in Burstow Road, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Toynbee Road southward for a distance of 43 metres;

(ii) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a)(i) above;

(b) the north-eastbound one-way working in Burstow Road will be suspended between its northernmost junction with Dennis Park Crescent and its junction with Toynbee Road and two-way traffic permitted.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency or

(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Lower Downs Road and Toynbee Road or vice-versa.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 4th January 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 6th March 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
DURNSFORD ROAD. WIMBLEDON PARK (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate residential development works at Nos. 134 to 138 Durnsford Road, Wimbledon Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Durnsford Road.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Durnsford Road, both sides, from a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of No. 138 Durnsford Road north-westward to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 144 and 146 Durnsford Road.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. The Order will come into operation on 1 st January 2022 and will remain in force for 12 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
MARTIN WAY AND MOSTYN ROAD
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable telecommunications mast repair work in Mostyn Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Mostyn Road and pedestrian traffic in Martin Way.
2. During the works no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Mostyn Road, from its junction with Martin Way northward for a distance of 20 metres;

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicles in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;

(c) enter or proceed on the footway:-

(i) on the east side of Mostyn Road from its junction with Martin Way northward for a distance of 10 metres;

(ii) on the north side of Martin Way, from its junction with Mostyn Road eastward for a distance of 15 metres.

3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(b) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent access to premises in or adjacent to the lengths of roads specified in paragraph 2 above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Cranleigh Road, Grasmere Avenue, Crown Lane and Martin Way or vice-versa.

7. Pedestrian traffic affected by the footway closures should proceed using the adjacent temporary walkway.

8. The Order would come into operation on Friday 21 January 2022 with the works anticipated to be completed the same day. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(MILES ROAD. MITCHAM) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate footway renewal works to be undertaken in Miles Road, Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Miles Road, between its junction with Church Road and the western boundary of No. 1 Miles Road; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Miles Road, both sides, between its junction with Church Road and its junction with Frimley Gardens; or

(c) enter or proceed on the footways of the road or lengths of road specified in paragraph (b) above.

3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Church Road, Church Place, Love Lane and Frimley Gardens or vice-versa.

5. Pedestrian traffic affected by a footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2(b) above; or

(e) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 10th January 2022. Works are anticipated to be carried out between Monday 10th January 2022 and Friday 28th January 2022 between the hours of 8am and 5pm each day. The road closure is anticipated to be in force between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day from Monday 10th January 2022 until Friday 14th January 2022. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should any further works be required.
