1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 11 October 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to extend the Croydon North Controlled Parking Zone into the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice:-

(a) introducing 8 hour 'pay by phone/permit' parking bays and yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, with "at any time" yellow line waiting restrictions where necessary;

(b) existing yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain;

(c) Residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice may apply for parking permits (see permit charge details in Schedule 2 to this Notice);

(d) charges for pay-by-phone parking in the bays in the area would depend on vehicle emissions as shown in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

3. The general effect of the Orders will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 18 October 2021, and of all associated Orders can be inspected by appointment from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

5. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA (email: parking.design@croydon.gov.uk).

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING BAYS AND CHARGING POINTS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. V32) Order 20-
The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.V33) Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers and also proposes to install electric vehicle charging points under section 16 of the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act 2013.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:-

(a) To provide parking places which may be used free of charge by electrically propelled vehicles that are being charged with electrical power, operational at any time on Mondays to Sundays inclusive, in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

(b) To install electric vehicle charging points adjacent to the proposed parking places, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

(c) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

NOTE: although parking in the electric vehicle bays is free of charge there is normally a cost involved in the use of the adjacent electric vehicle charging points.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, by email request to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk. Further information may also be obtained from the Parking Design team via email.

4. Persons desiring to object or make representations in relation to the proposed Orders or charging points should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, Place Department, Croydon Council, Floor 6, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/V32 & V33 by 11 November 2021.

5. The proposed Orders are intended to introduce electric vehicle charging bays and charging points to enable electric vehicle users to have access to unobstructed charging facilities reserved for the use of electric vehicles only, as part of the Council's aim to have a phased introduction of up to 400 electric vehicle charging points across the borough. The Orders are also intended to amend existing restrictions to accommodate the new electric vehicle charging bays where necessary.

PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up part of Rushden Close SE19 3QB.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Miss Jenifer Islip, Carter Jonas, 1 Chapel Place, London W1G 0BG on 22 June 2017 planning reference 16/06374/FUL.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLANS are available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Council's Access Croydon Reception Desk, Ground Floor, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA in the 28 days commencing Thursday 14 October 2021 or may be obtained, free of charge, from the London Borough of Croydon (quoting reference "proposed stopping up Ravensdale and Rushden Close") at the postal and email addresses stated below.

DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT
Demolition of garages. Erection of four, five, six storey building comprising 14 two bedroom and 1 one bedroom flats. Erection of 2 three-storey and 11 two storey three bedroom houses with associated car parking, landscaping and associated works
DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP
The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon, is a section of the north western footway forming part of the hammerhead turning area of Rushden Close and is shown line hatched in black on drawing reference "Proposed stopping up Ravensdale and Rushden Close".

CROYDON COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BROAD GREEN AVENUE, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Broad Green Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Broad Green Avenue will be closed at Its junction with London Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via London Road, Campbell Road and Broad Green Avenue, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
