GROSVENOR ROAD & BELGRAVE ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection and reinstatement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Grosvenor Road and Belgrave Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Grosvenor Road and Belgrave Road will be closed to buses and to any goods vehicle with a maximum gross weight of 3.5 tonnes or more, at the junction with High Street, South Norwood. Access will be maintained for cars and small vans.

3. The Order will come into operation on 17 April 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over two weekends (17 and 18 April and 24 and 25 April 2021). However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR OR PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway maintenance works that may take place within the London Borough of Croydon over the next 18 months, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to allow the following measures to be introduced, providing that the relevant permissions have been granted by the Council, in any street listed in the Schedule to this Notice within the Borough for which Croydon Council are the highway authority:

(a) temporarily introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets;

(b) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets;

(c) temporarily close any adjoining streets to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

(d) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required; and

(e) temporarily suspend bus lanes/stops, cycle lanes, parking bays or any other traffic restriction as required where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. All works requiring a road closure will be advertised complete with any diversion route on our website at the address below.

5. Frontages affected by the above restrictions will receive notification letters approximately two weeks before any works commence.

6. The Order will come into operation on the 30 April 2021 and will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. (Access for frontagers would be maintained whilst the work proceeds).

LUCERNE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they propose to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit parking in Lucerne Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced, operating "at any time' outside Nos. 8 to 22 on the north-west side of Lucerne Road.

3. Order will come into operation on the 03 May 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The prohibition will not apply to any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works, to any vehicle used for police, ambulance or fire brigade purposes, or to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS OLD LODGE LANE AND WATNEY CLOSE, PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed examination of the railway bridge in Old Lodge Lane they intend to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Old Lodge Lane and Watney Close, Purley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the following roads/sections of road will be closed:-

a) Old Lodge Lane between its junction with Watney Close and the north­western flank wall of No.2 Old Lodge Lane;

b) Watney Close at its junction with Old Lodge Lane.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Hartley Down, Stoats Nest Road and the A 23 and vice versa, as appropriately signed. Access for residents of Watney Close will be maintained.

4. The Order will come into operation on 01 May 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over one night between 11.30pm

and 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
