CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 211

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)

and (Free Parking Places) (No.14) Order 2020 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.15) Order 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 21 September 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places In the vicinity of No.56 Berne Road, Thornton Heath, No. 4 Buckingham Gardens, Thornton Heath, No. 7 Buckingham Gardens, Thornton Heath, No. 8 Elborough Road, South Norwood, No.9 Estcourt Road, South Norwood, No.3 Norman Road, Thornton Heath, No.3 Pitt Road, Croydon, No.112 Stanford Road, Norbury, No.13 Teevan Road, Croydon, No.92 Tedder Road, South Croydon, No.60 The Rldgeway, Croydon.



b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.



3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 28 September 2020, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility,

4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.



5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Orders would be:



a) To introduce "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice and single yellow lines in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2.



b) To update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new arrangements as they exist on site.



3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

6. The Order is intended to introduce new or amend existing waiting restrictions at various locations. These measures are intended to address all or some of the following situations: improve safety by providing increased visibility, especially at junctions and on bends; prevent obstructive parking so that turning vehicles have sufficient manoeuvrability and improve access for all road users, especially pedestrians, cyclists, emergency and public service vehicles.

The south-west side, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Selsdon Park Road by 10 metres.

Both sides, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Clifton Road by 10 metres.

Kingswood Avenue, South Croydon

Both sides, converting the existing single yellow lines at the junction with Limpsfield Road to double yellow lines.

CROYDON COUNCIL EXTENSION OF THE N1 CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE

IN THE KYNASTON ROAD AREA The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.6) Order 2020 The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No.6) Order 2020

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 21 September 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act,



1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone into the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice as an extension to the N1 sub-zone:-



(a) introducing 8 hour 'pay-by-phone/permit' parking bays and single yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, with double yellow lines operating "at any time" where appropriate;



(b) existing double yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain unchanged;



(c) charges for pay-by-phone parking in the bays would vary from 30p for 30 minutes to £4.80 for 8 hours (maximum);



(d) Residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice may apply for parking permits. Permit charges are shown on our website (

www.croydon.gov.uk/transportandstreets/parking/parking-

permits). A £30 administration fee applies to all new applications.



(e) The general effect of the Orders will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
