CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BRADING ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate traffic sign maintenance works, they have made an order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Brading Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking and loading/unloading will apply in Brading Road "at any time' in the following locations:-

a) Brading Road, the north-west side, from the south-western kerb-line of Lavender Road south-westwards for a distance of 20 metres.

b) Brading Road, the south-east side, from the south-western kerb-line of Thornton Avenue south-westwards for a distance of 16 metres.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 10 October 2020. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION 16A
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING ORDER COMMEMORATION OF THE BATTLE OF ARNHEM ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS
1. Croydon Council, with the agreement of Transport for London, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to commemorate the Battle of Arnhem on the 19 September 2020, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to:

(a) temporarily close to vehicular traffic, except for vehicles participating in the procession, those streets or lengths of street specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
2. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.

4. The Order will come into effect on the 19 September 2020 and will remain in force for a period of one day.

5. Nothing in the Order shall apply:

a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;

b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

6. Whilst the prohibition remains in force, the alternative route for diverted traffic in the Town Centre will be via Fell Road slip road and Park Lane.

EVENTS) ACT 1994 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING AND TRAFFIC ORDER
LONDON TO BRIGHTON VETERAN CAR RALLY
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the staging of the London to Brighton veteran car rally, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) temporarily suspend parking and introduce waiting restrictions in Brighton Road, Coulsdon (southbound only) at the following locations:-

(i) the layby adjacent to Coulsdon South railway bridge;

(ii) outside Sentinel House;

(iii) outside No. 169 Brighton Road;

(b) temporarily introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate the event.

(c) Note: Stewards will hold traffic for short periods as and when necessary to facilitate a right turn into Brighton Road at the junction with Farthing Way and to facilitate veteran vehicles exiting from Southbridge Road onto South End.

2 Nothing in the Order shall apply:
a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;

b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

3. The Order will come into effect on the 01 November 2020 and will remain in force for one day; however the prohibitions will only be enforced until the Veteran Car Rally passes.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC DERBY ROAD. HANDCROFT ROAD. PARSONS MEAD & MEAD PLACE. CROYDON
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus, which

is to give residents more space to walk and cycle, help improve fitness and address problems caused by excess traffic.
2. Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be that:

A) Derby Road will be closed to vehicular traffic (except pedal cycles) at its junction with Clarendon Road;

B) Handcraft Road will be made one-way northbound between its junctions with Dennett Road and Sumner Road with an exemption for pedal cycles using the contra-flow cycle lane which will be introduced between those junctions on the east side;

C) Loading restrictions operating "at any time" will be introduced on the east side of Handcroft Road for the length of the above cycle lane to complement the existing double yellow lines and prevent parking in the cycle lane);

D) The existing one-way working in Mead Place will be reversed so that vehicles travel south-westbound (i.e. from London Road towards Parsons Mead, with no entry to Mead Place from Parsons Mead);

E) Parsons Mead will be closed to motor vehicles at the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Parsons Mead except for holders of a valid exemption permit

4. The Order will come into operation on 02 October 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

5. Whilst the closures are in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Parsons Mead and/or Derby Road, Mitcham Road and Sumner Road.

6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

ROLLESTON ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works by UKPN to install a new electrical connection they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in

Rolleston Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Rolleston Road will be closed between its junctions with Sanderstead Road and Chambers Place.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via Rolleston Road, Bynes Road and Sanderstead Road, or Sanderstead Road, Brighton Road and Bynes Road, or via Sanderstead Road, Purley Road, Brighton Road and Bynes Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 02 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
