CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS HOWBERRY ROAD. BEACHAMP ROAD & NORTHWOOD

ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works in Northwood Road, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Howberry Road, Beauchamp Road and Northwood Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Howberry Road will be closed at its junction with Northwood Road, between 23 July and 04 August 2020;



b) Beauchamp Road will be closed at its junction with Northwood Road, between 04 and 15 August 2020;



c) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the above roads and in Northwood Road as necessary to facilitate the works;



d) Temporary traffic lights will be used to control the traffic flow in Northwood Road



3. Whilst the closures are in place the alternative routes for traffic will be via the routes below, as appropriately signed.



? Howberry Road Closure - diversion via Northwood Road, Penrith Road and Cranbrook Road and vice versa, or via Northwood Road, Beauchamp Road, Moffat Road and Westbrook Road and vice versa.



? Beauchamp Road closure - diversion via Spa Hill, Beulah Hill, Grange Road and Beauchamp Road and vice versa, or via Spa Hill, Howberry Road and Moffat Road and vice versa.



4. The Order will come into operation on 23 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 August 2020, between 7am and 7pm each day. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in the above roads.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) Croham Road will be made one-way eastbound between its junctions with Selsdon Road and Muggeridge Close;



(b) Vehicles proceeding in Muggeridge Close and St. Peter's Road will be prohibited from turning left into Croham Road;



(c) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time on both sides of the road outside Nos. 36 to 58 Selsdon Road.



3. Whilst the restrictions are place the diversion route for traffic will be via South Park Hill Road, Coombe Road and St Peter's Road, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 22 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately seven weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a cherry picker to access telecoms, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Teevan Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Teevan Road at its junction with Lower Addiscombe Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on the 23 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of poly duct, they have made an Order the effect of which would be



to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Woodside Way, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Woodside Way will be closed between No.8 Woodside Way to No.17 Woodside Way.



3. The Order will come into operation on the 18 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas connection they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Sussex Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) Sussex Road will be closed outside No. 57 Sussex Road;



(b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in Sussex Road outside Nos. 2 to 6 and Nos. 53 to 57 Sussex Road.



3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be via Moreton Road, Croham Road, Croham Manor Road and Selsdon Road and vice versa, or via Sussex Road and Selsdon Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 02 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 LOW TRAFFIC INITIATIVES ELGIN ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order for purposes connected to the coronavirus, which are to facilitate safer access for residents to their streets and enable them to exercise and maintain social distancing.



2. Whilst it remains in force, the effect of the Order will be to close Elgin Road to vehicular traffic between 13.00 hours and 22.00 hours every Saturday and Sunday, beginning on Saturday 01 August 2020 and ending on Sunday 28 March 2021. The closure will also apply at the same times on 31 August 2020 (Bank Holiday Monday).



3. The Order will come into operation on 01 August 2020 and will remain in force until 28 March 2021.



4. Whilst the above closure is in force, the diversion routes for traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Havelock Road and Addiscombe Road (and vice versa) or (southbound only) via Lower Addiscombe Road, Clyde Road and Addiscombe Road.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) a pedal cycle;



(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;



(d) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies;

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water supply, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Nugent Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Nugent Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junction with Whitehorse Lane and the south-western (rear) boundary of No. 298 Whitehorse Lane.



3. During the works the diversion routes for traffic will be via Elm Park Road, Dixon Road, Whitehorse Lane and vice versa or Elm Park Road, South Norwood Road and Whitehorse Road and vice versa



4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.



5. The Order will come into operation on 03 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
