NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 29 June 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 3 Dovercourt Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 9 Hampton Road, Croydon, No. 6 St Luke's Close, South Norwood and No. 118 Norbury Court Road, Norbury.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

6. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should make a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Parking Design Section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA or email

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED VARIOUS STREETS IN CROYDON - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:

a) introduce one-way traffic for the duration of works in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the schedule;

b) temporary closure to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified;

c) temporary close any adjoining streets to those specified in the schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

d) temporarily introduce banned turns or waiting restrictions at any time should this be required;

e) Any other temporary traffic management measures as required to facilitate gas main replacement works.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to

(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in those streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. During the prohibition referred to in paragraph 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 03 July 2020 and the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. (Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

CAIRO NEW ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate tram lines works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Cairo New Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Cairo New Road between its junctions with Reeves Corner and Waddon New Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Reeves Corner, A236 Roman Way, Rectory Grove, Waddon New Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 16 August 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out on the 16/08/20 to the 31/08/20, and on the 23/10/20 to the 03/11/20. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

CLIFTON ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular parking in Clifton Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be temporarily suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time":-

a) on both sides of Clifton Road between the common boundaries of Nos. 43 and 45 and Nos. 96 and 96 Clifton Road; and

b) on both sides of Pembroke Road between its junction with Clifton Road and the south-western boundary of No. 53 Clifton Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 6 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water fountain connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Cotford Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Cotford Road at its junction with Brigstock Road;

b) Parking bays and a disabled bay will be temporarily suspended to facilitate the works in progress.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 9 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

HATHAWAY ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new electrical connection, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Hathaway Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) Hathaway Road will be closed outside Nos. 28 to 34 Hathaway Road;

(b) Waiting restrictions will apply at any time and parking will be suspended opposite Nos. 28 to 34 Hathaway Road;

(c) The footway outside Nos. 28 to 34 Hathaway Road will be closed and pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via London Road and St James's Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 06 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days between 8am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AND PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic and parking in Long Lane and Milford Gardens, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place;

(a) Long Lane will be closed between its junction with Milford Gardens to No.263 Long Lane;

(b) free parking in Long Lane and Milford Gardens will be temporarily suspended to facilitate the works in progress.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Longheath Gardens and Long Lane as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 03 July 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 06 July 2020, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon' Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED PERMANENT ONE-WAY WORKING MELVILLE AVENUE, SOUTH CROYDON The Croydon (Traffic Movement) (Amendment No. K77) Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to make permanent the existing temporary one-way working arrangement which applies northbound in Melville Avenue between its junction with Coombe Road and a point

15 metres south of that junction.
3. The general effect of the Order would also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedules attached to the above Order so as to accurately represent the arrangements as they exist on site.

4. A copy of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays
