LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) BOLSTEAD ROAD, MITCH AM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) BOLSTEAD ROAD, MITCH AM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate gas mains replacement and associated works in Bolstead Road, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.



2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-



(a) enter or proceed in Bolstead Road, between its junction with Grove Road and its junction with Oakleigh Way; or



(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of Bolstead Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.



3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of Bolstead Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.



4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or



(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference.



6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Grove Road and Oakleigh Way or Grove Road, Woodside Way and Oakleigh Way.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



8. The Order will come into force on Monday 22nd June 2020 and it is expected that the works will be completed by 6th July 2020. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) WESTMORLAND WAY, MITCHAM (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate service pipe works in Westmorland Way Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.



2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-



(a) enter or proceed in Westmorland Way, from the south­eastern kerb-line of Carisbrooke Road south-eastward for a distance of 30 metres; or



(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.



3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Westmorland Way specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended.



4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Carisbrooke Road, Hertford Way and Yorkshire Road or vice-versa.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or



(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or lengths of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 6th July 2020 with the works expected to be completed within 3 days. However, the Order would remain in force for 6 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) THE CRESCENT, WIMBLEDON PARK (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate utility works in The Crescent, Wimbledon Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.



2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-



(a) enter or proceed in The Crescent, the eastern arm, from



a point 3 metres north of the northern boundary of No. 33 The Crescent, southward to a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb-line of The Crescent, the southern arm; or

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.



3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of The Crescent specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended.



4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Crescent Gardens and The Crescent, the western and southern arms or vice-versa.



6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or



(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or lengths of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

SEELY ROAD, TOOTING

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2020

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 1F Seely

Road, Tooting, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Seely Road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in Seely Road, the north-east side, from the north-western building wall of Nos. 1 c and 1 d Seely Road south-eastward for a distance of 14 metres.



3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.



4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



7. The Order will come into operation on Friday 12 June 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) MERTON HIGH STREET, COLLIERS WOOD AND

WORPLE ROAD, WIMBLEDON (COVID-19 SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to because of the likelihood of danger to the public and for purposes connected to coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Merton High Street, Colliers Wood and Worple Road, Wimbledon to enable pedestrians to keep a safe 2 metres distance from each other in the said roads during the coronavirus pandemic.



2. No person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in:-



(a) Merton High Street, Colliers Wood, the north side, outside Nos. 214 to 220 Merton High Street; or



(b) Worple Road, Wimbledon, the south-east side, from its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road south-westward for a distance of 108 metres.



3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of Merton High Street or Worple Road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.



4. The restrictions and suspensions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -



(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



7. The Order will come into operation on Friday 12th June 2020 and it is anticipated that its restrictions will apply for 6 months. However, this Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 18 months should there be a need for the restrictions to be continued or re-introduced.
