CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 APOSTLE WAY. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate district meter exchange works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Apostle Way, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:



[a) Apostle Way will be closed between its junctions with Parchmore Road and Windsor Road;



(b) Parking will be suspended in the above section of Apostle Way and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".



3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Church Road, Beulah Hill and Upper Beulah Hill, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days, between 8am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works clear a blockage in the carriageway, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Biggin Hill.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Biggin Hill will be closed between its junction with Beulah Hill and the south-western boundary of No.315 Beulah Hill.



3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Beulah Hill, Downsview Road, Biggin Way and Biggin Hill, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 24 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within approximately one day, between Sam and 5pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new customer connection on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make



an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic and parking in Downsview Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) Downsview Road will be closed between its junction with Beulah Hill and the north-eastern boundary of No. 1 Downsview Road;



(b) Waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking will apply "at any time' on both sides in the above section of Downsview Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via Biggin Way, Biggin Hill and Beulah Hill for westbound traffic or via Waddington Way, Spurgeon Road and Beulah Hill for eastbound traffic, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only



apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 LOW TRAFFIC INITIATIVES VARIOUS LOCATIONS - CROYDON & SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate safer access for residents to their streets, enabling them to exercise and maintain social distancing during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.



2. Whilst the restrictions remain in force:-



(a) the roads or sections of road listed in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice will be closed to vehicular traffic at their junctions with the roads listed in Column 2 of that Schedule;



(b) parking in small sections of the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice will be suspended as necessary to provide turning areas and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".



3. The Order will come into operation on 22 May 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.



4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) a pedal cycle;



(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;



(d) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

Whilst the closures are in force, the alternative routes for traffic will be via Crowther Road, Holland Road, Alfred Road, Stanger Road, and Balfour Road or Crowther Road, Stanger Road and Balfour Road (for the closures of the Balfour Road/Stanger Road junctions), or via Stanger Road, Crowther Road and Balfour Road or Stanger Road, Portland Road, Werndee Road and Stanger Road (for the closure of the Balfour Road/Crowther Road junction).



4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately 12 weeks, between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
