CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
BRICKFIELD ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas pipe connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Brickfield Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) Brickfield Road will be closed either side of its junction with Florida Road;

(b) Vehicles will be prohibited from turning into Brickfield Road from Florida Road;

(c) The south-western footway of Brickfield Road will be closed adjacent to the flank wall of No. 37 Maryland Road;

(d) Parking will be prohibited and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time within the closure areas and for 20 metres either side of the closure areas.

3. During the works the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed on street.

i. Diversion 1, via Virginia Road, Green Lane, Florida Road or Virginia Road, Downs Road and Florida Road.

ii. Diversion 2, via Maryland Road, Green Lane, Florida Road or Maryland Road, Springfield Road and Florida Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 May 2020, between 9am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

UPPER BEULAH HILL UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Upper Beulah Hill.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Upper Beulah Hill will be closed at its junction with Church Road.

3. During the works the diversion routes for traffic will be via Church Road, Westow Street, Central Hill, Rockmount Road, Chevening Road, Highfield Hill and Church Road, or via Church Road, Beulah Hill, Harold Road, Highfield Hill and Church Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 02 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days, between 8am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works; lb) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
CANTERBURY ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water connection, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Canterbury Road, Croydon.

2. During the works Canterbury Road will be closed between its junction with London Road and the south-western boundary of No. 405 London Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for traffic will be via London Road, Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, Lombard roundabout and Canterbury Road or via London Road, Thornton Road and Canterbury Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed over two nights between 9pm and 5am. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be necessary.

5. The restrictions specified in paragraph 2 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

WINTERBOURNE ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new connection works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Winterbourne Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to wait in Winterbourne Road at any time, even for the purposes of loading or unloading goods:-

(a) on the north-west side, between the north-eastern flank wall of No. 2 Goston Gardens and the common boundary of Nos. 61 and 63 Winterbourne Road;

(b) on the south-east side, between the south-western flank wall of Winterbourne Road Youth Centre, No. 28 Winterbourne Road, and the common boundary of Nos. 36 and 38 Winterbourne Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 04 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within eleven days, between 8am and 4pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING COULSDON ROAD & JUNCTIONS
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works in Coulsdon Road they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) The roads listed in the Schedule to this notice will be closed at their junctions with Coulsdon Road.

(b) Parking in the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the locations specified in the Schedule.

3. During the works the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as described in the Schedule to this Notice, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 01 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within approximately six months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

(c) Any vehicle being used to carry out the works.

ST. GEORGE'S WALK. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate reinstatement works, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in St. George's Walk.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place St George's Walk will be closed to southbound traffic between its junctions with Park Street and Katharine Street.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via Wellesley Road, Station Road, North End, London Road, Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, Roman Way, Old Town, Pump Pail North, The Croydon Flyover and Park Lane.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 May 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days between 9am and 5pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
