(Various Roads, Colchester) (16 Air assault brigade and Colchester Garrison Show 2019) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) and 22(c) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the following lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester:

To temporarily close that length of Jubilee Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Bromley Road to its junction with Spring Valley Lane, a distance of approximately 445m. The closures are scheduled to commence on 25th June 2019 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WSEP00IBUP24RF06/05

- BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.



An alternative route is available via Bromley Road, Parsons Heath Roundabout, Parsons Heath, Fox Street, John De Bois Hill and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 13th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wivenhoe Road, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wivenhoe Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Bromley Road for a distance of approximately 690m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2019 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WSEP00IBUP24RF07 -BT). . The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Clacton Road, Clacton Road, Brightlingsea Road, A133, Boundary Road, Greenstead Roundabout, Avon Way, Longridge, Bromley Road Tye Road, Wivenhoe Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 13th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Meredith Road, Clacton-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Temporary Suspension of One-Way) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Meredith Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction.



2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Meredith Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, as detailed in 'The Tendring District Council (St Andrew's Road, Meredith Road, Page Road, Clacton) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1980' for the duration of the works.



The closure and suspension of one way is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM55641046/3 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

(Spring Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th June 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEWAKC7J0R08

(Jankes Green Road, Mount Bures) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jankes Green Road, Mount Bures in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 575m east of its junction with Bures Road for a distance of approximately 65m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th June 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010542910 - Anglian Water). (The Commons, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Commons, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Prettygate Road to its junction with Ambrose Avenue, a distance of approximately 180m. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harts Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 100m east of its junction with Old Ipswich Road for a distance of approximately 80m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd July 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034820617 - UK Power Networks). Description

From its junction with Circular Road South, south for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

From its junction with Circular Road South, north east for a distance of approximately 80 metres to its junction with Circular Road East. i.

for a distance of approximately 272 metres. ii. From its junction with Circular Road North/ Flagstaff Road/Napier Road, south east for a distance of approximately 196 metres. From its junction with Napier road & Flagstaff Road, west for a distance of approximately 705 metres to its junction with Circular Road West. From its junction with Berechurch Road, west for a distance of approximately 677 metres to its junction with Circular Road West.

i. From its junction with Circular Road North, north for a distance of approximately 205 metres to its junctions with Butt Road.



ii. From its junction with Butt road, south for



a distance of approximately 520 metres to its junction with Circular Road South. From its junction with Circular road west, west for a distance of approximately 195 metres to its junction with Kensington Road. 2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the event. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The temporary stopping restrictions are scheduled to commence 8am on 28 June 2019 to 8pm on 29 June 2019 and the closures are scheduled to commence on 29 June 2019 between the hours of 6am to 8pm and are required for public safety while the 16 Air assault brigade and Colchester Garrison Show 2019 takes place. The Order will come into effect 28 June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 20 June 2019
