The 5th Abbey Wood Brownies and Rainbows celebrated Thinking Day on Saturday 22 February, when they learnt about different cultures, food and uniforms of Girl Guides from around the world.
It took place on what was a special day for all members of Girl Guilding UK, as it was the joint birthdays of the founding members of the Scouting and Guiding organisation, Lady Olive Baden-Powell and her husband Robert Baden-Powell.
Rainbows, Brownies and Guides remembered the founders and all other organisation members, most of whom are volunteers and carry out this work solely for the benefit of the younger generation.
Sandy White, Brownie Leader of The 5th Abbey Wood Brownies and Rainbows said: "The girls worked really hard, learning about other members of our organisation from around the world. They used maps and photographs and they had a great time tasting different dishes.
"A big thank you to all the parents who provided food."
