New badminton club
Just before Christmas, Meadowside Leisure Centre closed its doors after more than 20 years, Leaving large numbers of badminton players with nowhere to go.
Many of the players had been at the centre for as long as it had been there.
The group got together with Greenwich Council and have found premises at Eltham Green School.
We now have a new club called Parkside Badminton Club, New Members are welcome to visit twice, before deciding whether to join.
Club days: Tuesday, 8-10pm, beginner/intermediate and junior. Friday, 8.30-10.30pm, experience/advanced adults. Sunday, 10am-12noon, mixed abilities.
All sessions are coached.

I [bold]love[/bold] badminton and am really excited that I can play again, as there has been very little to do since it closed. Many thanks to Greenwich Council and Parkside Badminton Club. I will be back soon!
