The Biggin Hill Wing Singers have been invited to perform their popular musical routine by the Friends of West Wickham Library.
The performance will start at 2.30 this Wednesday December 12 at the library, Glebe Way, West Wickham.
The group is made up of former WWII aircrew, including pilots, navigators, air gunners and wireless operators, and will entertain the audience with a selection of popular songs and Christmas carols.
Lambeth Walk, Nothing Like a Dame and Me and My Girl represent a mere sample of the programme, performed by ten singers with accompaniment by a guitarist and pianist.
The Singers are an established presence in and around the Bromley area, and have been performing wartime numbers and songs from shows on average once a week for around 15 years.
To find out more about the Biggin Hill Wing Singers, please phone former Flying-Officer Ernie Hay on 020 8777 8917.
For further information about the Friends of West Wickham Library, and the small entrance fee payable on the door, please contact Peggy Spencer on 020 8777 7871
