Spring Park Social Club has again invited Don Dray to host a musical tour of the 1920s, 30s and 40s, at St Mark's Hall, Braemar Gardens, West Wickham.
Starting at 2.30pm on November 27, And the Bands Played On will take the audience on an audio-visual journey through the inter-war period up to and including the war years.
This journey will encompass the popular music, socio-economic background and events of the period.
Mr Dray says that although singing along will not be a strict requirement people are welcome to do so if they wish!
Entrance is free for club members, with a £1 charge payable on the door for non-members. All will be made very welcome, and refreshments will be served as usual.
