Your Friends Group Needs You!
The Friends of Jubilee Country Park are looking for willing volunteers to help us to continue to run and develop its group.
It is seeking someone with experience in accountancy who would be prepared to audit our annual accounts and as its current Publicity Officer is moving away, it desperately needs someone to take on this role. The task involves designing posters to advertise forthcoming events, maintaining and updating our five notice boards, attending committee meetings (3-4 per year) and generally publicising activities.
The group would also welcome anyone who would be prepared to become a committee member. It is looking for new ideas and suggestions for activities to run, projects in the park to focus on, fundraising etc. There are approximately 3 to 4 committee meetings a year to attend.
If you would like to volunteer, or find more out, please phone Jennie Randall on O78 4054 2261 or e-mail odilebulline@hotmail.com
The group is holding its A.G.M on March 10th 7.30 pm at St. Augustines Garden Room in Southborough Lane.
