Orpington (Afternoon) Townswomen’s Guild
THE first meeting this year, on January 22, was also the guild's 52nd birthday.
Following various announcements, the speaker Mr Hampson took the stand. A retired police dog trainer and handler, he brought his own pet German shepherd, three-year-old Max.
Last year's monthly lunches were very popular and are to continue.
The next one is on Wednesday, February 20 and is at the Royal Oak, Green Street Green.
The guild meeting is on February 26 which will be a fun afternoon with a bring-and-buy table.
