Harris HospisCare in Orpington hosted its annual Christmas Bazaar at Caritas House last Saturday.

Highlights included seasonal refreshments, games, cards, crafts and a special Santa's grotto.

"Harris HospisCare would like to say a big thank-you to everyone who gave their support to the Christmas Bazaar," said Marisa Gifford, Harris HospisCare's community fundraising co-ordinator.

"Santa's grotto was of course the star attraction and a superb selection of Harris HospisCare Christmas cards and decorations was up for sale."

The Harris HospisCare Christmas Bazaar raised approximately £3,500.

A range of Christmas goodies including Harris HospisCare cards, wrapping paper and tree decorations can be purchased from Caritas House reception located in Tregony Road, Orpington.

The hospice has to raise more than £2 million each year to continue caring for people with cancer and other serious illnesses, both within the hospice and in their own homes, and supporting their families and friends through illness and into bereavement.
