GET into the festive spirit and join Harris HospisCare for some Christmas charity events in Bromley.
December 2
Light Up A Life. St Michael's and All Angels Church, Locksbottom, 4-5pm.
Harris HospisCare invites people to remember their loved ones by sponsoring a light on the Tree of Light. The tree is located in the grounds of St Michael's Church.
There will be a church service with readings, hymns and music with the tree being lit at the end of the service.
Afterwards mulled wine and mince pies will be served in the church hall Call 01689 825755.
December 7
Annual Christmas Carol Concert. Caritas House, Tregony Road, Orpington, 8pm, free admission.
Join Harris HospisCare for an evening of carol singing in the hospice grounds, followed by refreshments inside the Harris Day Therapy Centre and the annual raffle draw.

Cello Christmas Concert. St Paul's Church, Crofton Road, Orpington, 7.30pm, £6 per adult (children and teenagers go free). Tickets only available at the door.
A joyful mixture of vocal and instrumental professionals mixed with carols for the entire audience, this popular annual event features a 22-piece cello orchestra, a brass quartet, free interval drinks and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
The event is organised by 49-year-old Alice McVeigh, from Orpington, a prominent local cellist and author.
