The Rotary Clun of Bromley
THIS year's President of the Inner Wheel Club of Bromley, Rosemary Ayling, has adopted the Marie Curie Cancer Care as her charity for the year.
She decided members and their friends would help celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Marie Curie Cancer Care by holding a "A Blooming Great Tea Party" to raise much needed funds for the charity.
On July 2 25 ladies arrived at a member's lovely home in the Kent countryside to enjoy a tea party not to be forgotten with home-made cakes, sandwiches and copious amounts of tea.
Ms Ayling thanked everyone for their generosity and donations which resulted in about £300 being raised.
