RECENT events enjoyed by members have included a coach journey in April to Lynton in north Devon for a week's holiday.
Last month members travelled by coach to Elmstead Market near Colchester to have a pub lunch at the King's Arms and then onto the Beth Chatto gardens.
In 1960, Beth and Andrew Chatto found home for more than 2,000 types of plants they wished to grow on overgrown waste land with dry and damp soil, in both sun and shade.
