West Kent Women’s Institute
ANNIVERSARY celebrations have been held to celebrate 90 years of a local Women's Institute.
The West Kent Women's Institute's 90th birthday was celebrated with a tea party attended by Bromley mayor Councillor Pauline Tunnicliffe at Chelsfield village hall, Bucks Cross Road.
There was a red and white theme to the event, which was organised by the 88-year-old Chelsfield Afternoon branch.
Around 75 members came along to eat and be entertained.
Chelsfield Afternoon committee member Barbara Burragesaid: "Everybody thoroughly enjoyed it."
