| The Kentones Barbershop chorus sang to raise funds for the Demelza Capital Appeal |
THE Kentones Barbershop chorus sang at a function in Orpington.
Both the organisers and the chorus are supporters of the Demelza Capital Appeal and the aim was to raise money for this worthy cause.
An al fresco concert began when Christmas lights were switched on and the chorus delivered a programme of popular songs and carols, sometimes assisted by partygoers and passers-by.
A snow machine helped to create a lovely old-fashioned Christmas atmosphere, which delighted the many children at the party.
The chorus was rewarded with hot mince pies and mulled wine.
The greatest reward, however, was the £453.00 raised for the charity.
The Kentones will singing again for the Demelza Capital Appeal in The Glades in Bromley on December 23 from noon to 2pm.
