LADIES from the club and wives of Rotarians celebrated their 75th anniversary with a lunch held at the Bickley Manor Hotel on November 6.
President Pam Brooks welcomed former members, friends and guests from fourteen Inner Wheel clubs across the district, including the Rotary president and members of the Rotary Club Bromley.
There was also a special welcome for district chairman Beryl Pendlebury-Green.
The guest speaker was writer and broadcaster John Carter, who gave an illuminating talk on the theme of unsung heroes, which was enjoyed by all.
This memorable afternoon was highlighted when Ms Pendlebury Green presented the club with a framed 75th anniversary certificate.
WE asked for businesses to offer rewards to people who do good deeds. Then we asked people to start doing nice things to earn the rewards. One man has chosen to do both!
