Eden Park Townswomen’s Guild
AT THE annual meeting, members were pleased to learn the current officers and committee were willing to serve for another term.
The yearly report of our many varied activities proved, although reduced in numbers, the guild remains an active one.
Monthly meetings have featured interesting talks.
Some have been on local subjects, some recounting visits to countries abroad, some on national institutions or famous venues, with experiences drawn form personal knowledge.
Several social events have been organised at members' houses and visits have been arranged to theatres and places of interest.
The social half hour features quizzes, members' recollections and literary readings.
Members have been royally entertained at both the guild birthday and the Christmas parties.
The guild also participated in some of the outings and projects run by the Kent Federation.
Members can now look forward to another enjoyable year and welcome new visitors.
